Cebolla, Spanish for onion, may be just another ghost town, but its history is rich and fascinating. Records date back to the early 1800s, and the post office opened in the early 1900s, which means that the town was a vital part of the surrounding area for many years. Located just 13 miles south of Tierra Amarilla on US Highway 84, Cebolla is waiting for you to explore its forgotten streets and buildings. Was recorded to be abandoned in approximately 1914.

Remains: Few remains. Were only able to locate a couple of buildings on first visit.
